    I'm not sure how you can call it a vegan book when you've got recipes that ask for whey protein and milk (see the Smoothies and Beverages section). Also a note to people who sell recipe books internationally. Please use metric measurements rather than "cups".

    What I liked: info on health impacts of diet, recipe ideas, measurement conversions.

    What needs improvement: Poorly edited (typos, syntax, flow, not in plain language) and so many sentences just don’t make sense. I have to wonder if this was translated from another language? Not 100% vegan, which is very confusing. Suggests mayonnaise and greek yoghurt in recipes, as an example. Title says vegan recipes. Large portion of intro is dedicated to athletes. Interchangeably uses vegan and vegetarian. Cover picture has cheese (looks like bocconcini which is made from cow’s milk and is not vegan). Considers cheese as part of vegan diet (p.106). A lot of recipes are described as “muscle” or “brawny”, I have no clue what that means.

    I would not recommend this purchase. Sorry.

    I have been considering getting back into a vegetarian lifestyle and this book is just what I needed. The recipes are easy with minimal ingredients and it includes everything from entrees to sauces. I love that there are conversion charts in the back as a lot of times it's inconvenient to do a Google search to get equivalents while cooking. If you want to change your eating habits, this is a must try book!

    This book was a bit wordy for a cookbook and biased to weight lifters and body builders (which I am neither). The first full half of the book is information on nutrition. The recipes seem good (though they require a complete overhaul of my pantry). I did notice a few are missing ingredients included in the directions. Overall, a good book for beginner vegetarians. I myself was just looking to add to my meat free meals.

    If you are wanting to eat healthy but don’t know where to start, this may be the book for you! This gave a good explanation of what to stay away from and why and then gives numerous recipe options from breakfast recipes to snack and dinner options. This is definitely a book I will keep going back to for reference.
