    Full disclosure: I am not on a keto diet, nor am I vegetarian, but I am always looking for healthy food ideas to add to my repertoire when I want to try something new. I usually have what I call a, " Dextox Week". Where I don't eat any meat and go for vegan and mainly vegetarian meals.
    If I every decide I want to try Keto, this book has helped me understand a bit of what keto is and how to go about it. It explains the process and what to expect when you're body is first entering keto. These food ideas will help you maintain ketosis, especially if you are a vegetarian and are looking for non meat keto meal ideas. Easy to understand and follow. If yiu want something more indepth, I suggest another book, this is a very basic understanding of Keto, with many helpful meal ideas for the keto vegetarian.

    Lots of recipes but no pictures. Also the calculated macronutrients of the recipes are suspect, I don't trust them. Some recipes loaded with pineapple and other sweet fruits but low sugar/carbs, doesn't make sense.

    Aburrido, con muy pocos fotos y estos sin color...no puedo recomendar este libro. Voy a devolverlo .

    UPDATE: I lowered to one star because this morning when I was finally able to find the recipe I was looking for, I discovered that there was no nutritional informational information for that recipe (as there is for - hopefully - every other recipe.) This book is truly poorly put together.

    The book cover is beautiful. There are a few, very small, b&w pictures inside - no color photos. There are a lot of recipes and that earns two stars. BUT... the book actually has recipes that include liver and pork...the pages are extremely difficult to read - like all of the recipes run together so I have to really search out a recipe even when looking at the page...the 365 meal plan is just a word processing table with the recipes plugged in...the book title states "Beginners" but there isn't even one full page dedicated to the keto model (how many carbs/fat to eat in a day) so it really is just recipes and there is no need to mislead with "Beginners" in the title. I would not recommend this book to a beginner unless they were just looking for recipes and didn't mind the horrible format. It doesn't seem to be professionally published - at least by looking at it - so maybe that was the problem.

    While this book is still poorly written, and the recipes still lack descriptions, with most lacking photos, as well, at least it still has SOME photos, SOME creative recipes, and SOME are even vegan-friendly.

    I especially look forward to trying the savory roasted red pepper muffins.
