I bought this book as I’ve just started my transition from vegetarian to vegan. There’s lots of great dietary information. I wouldn’t call this a cook book so much as an educational book with recipes.

Plant base food is the newest trend. I have tried a few brands. You have to watch out for the process plant base foods, learned that from my son. The taste is so, so. If you buy plant base burgers, sausages, hot dogs , don’t think it will taste like the familiar , it won’t. But it does taste good if you just think of wanting a burger. I have tried the plant base butter, don’t expect it to taste like Hotel butter. I don’t know how many products of plant base I will try, but home made is the best. Just try it as a new food and you will be happy to learn that your tastebuds will adjust. I still rather have the real thing, just eat less of it!
